ChucksAutoSwap: The Online Automotive Swapmeet

 About Us

Grand Poobah Welcome to my website, ChucksAutoSwap.com. I am Chuck Tyls, and I'm not only an automotive enthusiast and collector, but someone who has had his hand in some part of the business for the past 10 years. As a result, I've come to realize that finding automotive-related information can be compared to the infamous needle in the haystack. I've also become frustrated with Websites that are more flash than substance, and are difficult to navigate. The concept behind ChucksAutoSwap.com is simple: a consolidated internet market place for antique automobiles (as well as trucks and motorcycles), and their parts and accessories. A market place that is easy, and intuitive, to navigate.

Additionally, I want this site to evolve into a resource for accurate information on the repair and restoration of Collectables. These ideas are still in the process of being implemented. I am in the middle of some pretty lively discussions with various vendors on how best to incorporate their technical repair and restoration expertise into this site. One of those ideas is our Car Corral, so please register, so that you can post pictures of your pride and joy.

There are also links to the AMSOIL website, so that you can see information on, and directly purchase, the best available synthetic oils, filters, greases, and fuel additives. We are betting that you will also be interested in some of their other product lines, such as Mothers Appearance, and Aggrand, as well.

As mentioned above, I am a collector of antique automobiles, and I have attended numerous cruise nights, rallies, and swap meets, etc. where cars and parts are bought and sold. Some of the famous, and probably most well known in collector circles, are the Fall Meets in Carlyle and Hershey, PA. It is the inspiration for this site. These events are always outstanding, and second to none in the quality and diversity of the vehicles and parts represented. My goal is to bring that level of automotive variety and quality to the Internet. I want the Collector and Enthusiast to have access to parts, vehicles, service tips, instruction, and discussion all year long.

Naturally, the online experience cannot duplicate the excitement of a live event. Therefore, I strongly encourage anyone who is able to make the trip to Pennsylvania, to go and experience one of the annual Fall Swapmeets.
